Geranium Pour Monsieur Perfume by Dominique Ropion
EDITOR’S NOTE
Artistic flamboyance.
Like the eccentric Englishman in a blue velvet jacket, pink striped shirt, and a cashmere-print pocket square, this perfume is an extravagant unraveling of colors and textures. A cool whiff of mint and aniseed, imbued with Chinese geranium, spills over into nuances of clove, sandalwood, benzoin, and frankincense.
A color palette for the bright and bold.
About the Perfumer: Dominique Ropion trained at the legendary Roure Bertrand Dupont laboratory before going to work with Jean-Louis Sieuzac, one of the perfumery world’s great technicians. Today he is a star perfumer at IFF. What makes Ropion’s work special is the mix of precision and freedom, and his quest to create new, harmonious accords by pairing ingredients, which are polar opposites
