Café Sommelier is a porcelain series that is conceived with coffee and its preparation in mind. Baristas, coffee roasters, and other coffee experts have inspired and accompanied the product development process.
You can see, smell and taste good coffee. You can also feel it with a nice cup. KAHLA went deep into the world of coffee to learn how to make a really good drink. And with this knowledge to develop the right cups, to enjoy it. When designing the cup shapes and all their details such as size, wall thickness, rim, and inner shape, handle and seat on the saucer, the designer wanted to create them as tools that bring out the aroma and taste of the coffee according to all the rules of the art.
The Café Sommelier 2.0 Flavor Seal, a porcelain lid in three sizes, preserves the aroma and flavor of freshly brewed coffee up to the moment of enjoyment, or also in the event that the coffee break is unexpectedly interrupted. The mini size fits the cappuccino Italiano cup, the coffee cup, and the coffee mug 0.32L.
